1. What kind of arts activities do you currently participate in (for example, drama, music, arts, writing, crafts, filmmaking, dancing)?

Drama, writing, music, film making, audio-visual work, art

2. Why do you participate in arts activities?

I am looking to extend my professional practice, learn and enjoy the experience, plus the company of other creative, enthusiastic individuals

3. Has arts provision been withdrawn in your area because of budget cuts?

I have seen this happening across all arts sectors in Wales and the West Midlands, with funding being withdrawn and projects being cut in length etc.

4. If so, how has this affected you?

Several projects have been cut in length and outcomes have had to be changed in order to cut budgets, plus projects abandoned. This has happened to me recently which has meant less time participating in the arts.

5 Do you think that people have enough opportunity to participate in arts activities in your area?

There is always room for more opportunity - we need more projects which encourage participants to extend their skills base to become professional

6. Would anything help you to participate more in the arts?

More concessionary prices to attend courses etc.

7. What might stop you from taking part in arts activities (for example, accessibility)?
